UAV Flight Operations Specialist

We are seeking individuals to support IT technical field operations for UAV Services as a Flight Operations Specialist.
This role involves working in various locations and requires a commitment to outdoor activities throughout the year.
Project Duration: 1 year - 40 hours per week
Gain valuable experience in UAV operations.
Essential Skills:
- Function as a mobile Flight Service Operator, providing logistical support and coverage for deployed operators.
- Proficiently operate IT systems to interface with corporate platforms.
- Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Certification Requirement: Must possess a valid FAA Part 107 Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, including pre-flight and post-flight checks.
- Execute daily operational tasks at the start and end of each day.
- Perform routine maintenance as outlined in the UAS Maintenance Manual.
- Inspect and maintain nest equipment, ensuring readiness for operations.
- Engage in Crew Briefings to discuss operational plans.
- Maintain effective communication with the Pilot-in-Command.
Job Requirements:
- Execute aircraft inspections and daily operational activities.
- Adhere to standard practices for aircraft maintenance.
- Participate in equipment inspections and necessary replacements.
- Collaborate in Crew Briefings and maintain communication protocols.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Ability to collect and present field data related to wireless networks during site assessments.
- Experience in basic network cabling as required.
- Familiarity with telephony equipment and network management devices.
- Proficient in manual cross-connect functions on telephony blocks and patch panels.
- Skilled in using computer systems to manage and update network databases.
