About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering discipline, you will be responsible for managing the electrical engineering team, designing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers to deliver high-quality designs and projects on time and within budget.
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, mechanical engineering, and construction.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and guidelines for the electrical engineering discipline.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project managers.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including design-build and construction experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one state, with the ability to become registered in all states.
  • High-level proficiency with Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
