Quality and Improvement Engineer - ET&S

Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Improvement Engineer to join our ET&S Engineering Quality Team. The successful candidate will work across the global engineering function, covering all divisions and aspects of managing quality escapes, problem resolution, and process deviation plans. They will provide guidance on quality compliance to ET&S and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to ensure the highest quality standards.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Quality governance in ET&S, ensuring connectivity and consistency with divisional and functional governance activity.

• Management of Quality Data, ensuring accuracy of reporting to ET&S Global Capability Directors and representation of Engineering Quality at the QSABs.

• Programme management and coaching of engineers for problem resolution via MQIs, QNs PDPs across Group Engineering, including direct ownership of issues where appropriate.

• Facilitation in the close out of Quality Audit findings as they arise in ET&S.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field. They must also have 1+ years of experience in a related field or a JD/PhD. Additionally, they must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have experience working in across Engineering disciplines and processes with knowledge of the RRMS. They must also have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization up to senior management level. This includes the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on other sites and time zones. They must also be able to lead and influence globally diverse teams and have 8D Problem Solving skills.
