Job Summary:

JBS USA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize production areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Complete mandatory safety training and food safety/GMP training as outlined by the company
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion work, including hand scrubbing and running a hose
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and/or crawl for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water, and slippery floors
  • Must be able to work with multiple chemicals with proper training and personal protective equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Working Conditions:

  • Slippery floors, hot or cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
