Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Wieland in Duncansville, PA. This role involves functioning as a material handler to supply and remove tubing or supplies to and from production operations.

The successful candidate will operate equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiate improvements to safe operations as needed.

This is a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) position with the option for training on 1st shift. Starting pay is up to $23.11 per hour after training.

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Effectively communicate with other employees, supervisors, and management during shift changes.
• Interpret traveler tickets for information and take appropriate material handling methods to avoid damaged material.
• Function as a general helper as needed, duties may include operating the Wire Brush machine, Expander machine, Rotary Straightener, Chamfer machine, Tumbling equipment.
• Assist with Large Level Winder, Saw helper, cleaning, and testing, initializing color code.
• Record and post information on traveler tickets and daily production sheets.
