As a Registered Nurse on our Abdominal Transplant team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses. We are committed to providing a healthy work environment and culture of safety, using inter-professional collaboration and professional competencies to meet the needs of our patients.
Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse on our Abdominal Transplant team include:
- Providing direct patient care to abdominal transplant patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in abdominal transplant nursing
- Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety and respect
Requirements for the Registered Nurse position include:
- At least one year of inpatient hospital RN experience
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- License/Certification: RN - Registered Nurse, BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
