About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including radiographic, computed radiography, and digital radiography systems.
  • Position patients to obtain high-quality images, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of anatomy.
  • Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other procedures as required, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry and Virginia state license required.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
