About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Synthetic Chemist to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and characterizing novel compounds and polymers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient production processes for polymer-based products.
  • Collaborate with Process Development Scientists to transfer established production procedures.
  • Maintain the Organic Production lab, including equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • BS or MS in Synthetic Chemistry or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of laboratory experience in polymer synthesis and characterization.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with polymer synthetic transformations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
