Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our cardiovascular unit. This role is essential for delivering high-quality nursing services to patients with various cardiac conditions.

Certification Requirements
  • Current OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA, NIH
  • Minimum of 1 Year NIH Certification
Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Caring for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure, and more.
  • Administering noninvasive ventilation and managing patients post-cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Utilizing antiarrhythmic IV medications and addressing peripheral vascular issues.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant setting is required.
  • Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER for CVCU/Med Surg holds is necessary.
  • Cardiac experience is a must; ICU experience alone is insufficient.
  • Recent travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Completion of a Skills Checklist (Cardiac ICU Checklist) within the last year is required.
  • Two supervisory reference forms, completed within the last two years, are needed.
Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility as there is no block scheduling.

Unit Information
  • Our cardiovascular care unit consists of 33 beds.
  • The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
