Job Title: Operations Manager

Fortune Brands is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Fiberon Brand manufacturing facility in New London, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while leveraging data to support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement strategies for safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals within the department.
  • Promote a performance-driven culture by communicating company vision and values.
  • Guide safety initiatives through commitment to safety programs and site-specific plans.
  • Track and improve KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting product specifications and maintaining open communication.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop front-line managers, engineering, and support staff to meet plant goals.
  • Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve work-related issues, supporting production supervisors as needed.
  • Train and engage associates to ensure proper use of equipment and tools.
  • Foster a positive work environment with ongoing coaching and feedback.
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering, Business, or a related degree.
  • 7+ years management experience with a large manufacturing organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or professional manufacturing certification(s).
  • 24/7 site operations experience.
