Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our orthodontists in delivering exceptional treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist orthodontists with patients requiring corrective procedures for alignment and spacing issues.
- Help orthodontists clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth by taking x-rays, photographs, and creating molds of a patient's bite.
- Ensure that necessary tools are sterilized and in place, and keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures.
- Hand orthodontists the necessary tools at the appropriate time.
- Current Dental Assisting License in MA required.
- CDA/COA Certification desired.
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree from an Accredited Institution.
- EFDA Certification is highly desirable.
- Eager, energetic, and strong sense of personal values.
- Ability to travel if required, between multiple locations as needed to fill-in support.
