Medical Care Leader

About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for managing medical care for a panel of veterans enrolled in Primary Care, serving as the leader of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), and working collaboratively with PACT members to ensure the overall safety and quality of each veteran's care.
Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing medical care for a panel of veterans enrolled in Primary Care
- Serving as the leader of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT)
- Working collaboratively with PACT members to ensure the overall safety and quality of each veteran's care
- Maintaining licensures and certifications requisite for credentials and privileges at the OKC VAHCS
Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. These include United States citizenship, a degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine, and a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
