We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist III to join our team at Woodward, Inc. as a CNC Horizontal Mills Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role in our manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC horizontal mills with minimal supervision, performing process checks and inspections as required.
- Provide expertise and guidance to other team members on manufacturing processes, including training and mentoring.
- Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and operating procedures, identifying and controlling nonconforming material as needed.
- Utilize computer programs to enter part data, log time, and download programs, interpreting and applying datum structures and material condition tolerances.
- Perform secondary work functions such as deburring and sub-assembly, as required.
- High school diploma required; 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending, and lifting or moving objects.
- Deburring skills preferred.
