We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator/Process Technician to join our team at Perdue Farms. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing equipment to ensure proper operation of our production equipment and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and inspect equipment and related components for proper operation.
  • Prepare equipment for sanitation and perform specific duties during production hours.
  • Observe and adjust equipment for proper operation during production and report problems to management.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on weekends and assist in equipment modifications or rebuilds.
  • Maintain work and production area during production and on weekends as needed.
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent education.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Reading, writing, and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.
  • Pass a background check.
Work Environment

This position is active and requires the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. You will be exposed to wet and moist floors, temperatures between 28 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and chemicals used in poultry processing. You must wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the Company.
