We are looking for skilled and efficient Commercial Maintenance Technicians with handyman repair expertise to join our team. Candidates must be adaptable, driven, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Effective communication, proficiency in using work order applications, and accurate documentation are essential. Maintain timely and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Plumbing Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures in heating, water, or drainage systems in accordance with plumbing regulations.
- Service, repair, and install commercial plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, power rodding, and water heater installations.
- Prepare job scopes with time estimates and material needs.
- Adhere to state and local plumbing codes and follow OSHA safety standards.
Handyman Responsibilities:
Our clients require assistance with a variety of minor repairs and maintenance tasks. We need someone who can effectively problem-solve and perform basic repairs such as:
- General maintenance tasks like securing cabinet doors, adjusting doors for proper closure, and replacing ceiling tiles.
- Conducting assessments and checklists to tighten cabinet hinges, inspect for necessary repairs, and ensure all outlets have appropriate cover plates.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, climb stairs, and ladders up to 35 feet repeatedly, as well as bend, stretch, lift, and move heavy objects multiple times during a shift.
- Operate and maintain power tools and vehicles, including the ability to drive a work van for extended periods in various weather conditions.
General Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a plumber.
- Willingness to learn basic electrical repairs and painting.
- Proficient in all aspects of plumbing and service maintenance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to conduct oneself with integrity and professionalism.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks.
- Proficient in using smartphones and/or tablets.
