Job Description

Verbal Behavior Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will work one-on-one with children with special needs to support the development of their communication, self-help, social, and play skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support skill acquisition and behavior change
  • Collect and record data on client progress, including behavior data and clinical notes
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to learn and grow

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Proof of COVID-19, MMR, and TDap vaccination
  • TB Test and Live Scan background check
