School-Based RN Opportunity

At PSI Affiliates Inc, we are seeking a skilled School-Based Registered Nurse to join our team. As a School-Based RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of students in your community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor student health needs, providing nursing interventions and adhering to the PSI Health Resource Guide and State Department of Health guidelines.
  • Interact warmly with students, providing patient care and managing both acute and chronic health issues.
  • Document health services provided, oversee health screenings, and ensure student immunization records are up to date.
  • Promote health education and support a healthy school environment for students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required).
  • Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols.
  • Preference for school-based or pediatric experience (preferred).
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach - Must work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Current CPR certification and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
