We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team at ECHN. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve or restore function.
- Conduct and modify evaluations based on patients' symptoms, level of activity, and medical status.
- Treat patients with therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
- Document patient progress and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Supervise students and participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current licensure in Connecticut or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites.
- Basic skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
