Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering safe, timely, efficient, effective, and equitable care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care through the application of the nursing process, accepting accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify potential and actual problems and opportunities to improve care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to evaluate and integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient and family preferences and values.
- Communicate effectively with team members, adapting one's own style of communicating to meet the needs of the team and situation.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
- National Nursing Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN.
