Job Summary:The Physical Therapist will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing physical therapy services for residents in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing physical therapy services
- Interpret and instruct in physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members, etc.
- Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments (MDS), etc.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as outlined by the State Physical Therapy Practice Act
- Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes as required
- Current license and registration to practice as a Physical Therapist, PT in the State of NY
- Current malpractice insurance, license in good standing
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary compassionate care as a Physical Therapist, PT
- Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about quality care
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Trusted to work independently and in a team environment
