About the Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the financial accounting systems of the organization, ensuring compliance with internal policies and governmental regulations. Your role will involve establishing and executing accurate financial processes and deliverables while analyzing data to resolve discrepancies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the semi-monthly Public Voucher billings and ensure all financial reports meet compliance standards.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and other financial systems to ensure they operate effectively.
  • Monitor contract compliance with financial policies to guarantee that costs are appropriate and allocated correctly.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to protect the integrity of financial activities.
  • Ensure timely management of student pay systems in collaboration with the Student Records function.
  • Assist in budget planning and management by providing accurate financial data to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support financial success and educate on budgetary practices.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related business field, with a strong foundation in Intermediate Accounting. A minimum of two years of accounting experience and supervisory experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with successful completion of company accounting accuracy assessments.
