Job Overview

Rapido-RX is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner PRN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
    • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient histories to identify potential health issues.
    • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Treatment and Management
    • Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions, taking into account the patient's medical history, current health status, and treatment goals.
    • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions, empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across the healthcare team.
    • Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team, including referrals to specialists, to ensure comprehensive and timely care.
    • Participate in case management and discharge planning activities, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and improve the quality of care.
  • Professional Development
    • Engage in continuous professional development through education, research, and participation in professional organizations, staying current on the latest advancements in nursing and healthcare.
    • Mentor and educate nursing staff and students, sharing your expertise and experience to support the growth and development of others.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
    • Current Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics).
  • Licensure
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of [5] years of clinical nursing experience, with at least [5] years as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
    • Experience in Telemedicine is highly desirable.
  • Skills
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Telemedicine experience.

    • Engaging, focused driven, goal oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, standing or walking for extended periods, and manual dexterity for clinical tasks.
Working Conditions

  • Requires flexibility in work hours, including potential for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
