Job Description:

The Administrative Operations Clerk position provides liaison services between sworn and civilian employees, timekeepers, supervisors, the Payroll Section, and the Human Resource Management Division. Key responsibilities include carrying out daily administrative support, managing time and attendance activities, responding to written and verbal inquiries from employees and supervisors, preparing reports, maintaining records, and planning and implementing time and attendance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of District government time and attendance guidelines
  • Skill in preparing manual time and attendance reports
  • Skill in the use of an automated payroll system
  • Skill in recording accurate information and detecting errors
  • Skill in establishing an effective record-keeping system
  • Skill in performing basic mathematical computations
  • Skill in planning and monitoring multiple processes simultaneously
