Behavioral Health Psychology Manager

As a Behavioral Health Psychology Manager at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for leading a small group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Essential Responsibilities:- Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed decisions and provide input on staffing and performance evaluations.
- Oversee program design and implementation, ensuring alignment with unit goals and objectives.
- Monitor access indicators and utilization management to optimize program effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs) in the Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) Program.
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
- PhD, PsyD, or EdD in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- Previous clinical responsibilities, including psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and brief individual and group psychotherapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
