Job Title: Electrical Component Engineer

Aksa Power Generation USA is seeking a skilled Electrical Component Engineer to support our operations in the Conroe/Willis/Houston, TX area.

About the Role:

This role involves the installation and assembly of electrical components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using specialized equipment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing generator sets for testing, carrying out work according to work orders, checking panel compliance, assembling specially ordered groups, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Generator set preparation through electrical assembly operations before the test
  • Work execution according to work orders and information provided
  • Verification of panel compliance against work orders and option lists
  • Assembly of specially ordered groups according to option lists
  • Material inspection and reporting
  • Data entry into relevant systems
  • Completion of relevant fields on production identification cards
  • Notification of material returns to warehouse
  • Maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Compliance with quality, environmental, and OHS regulations
  • Participation in training and development programs
  • Observance of workplace safety guidelines
  • Feedback and suggestion sharing with department managers
  • Risk identification and mitigation in QA, Environment, and OHS Management Systems
  • Contribution to risk reduction initiatives
  • Work area cleanliness and organization during production
  • Task completion in accordance with production targets and manager instructions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related field
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds during shift
  • Excellent communication, reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Practical problem-solving ability and adaptability to varying scenarios
  • Able to lift 50 pounds continuously

The estimated annual salary for this Electrical Component Engineer position is $65,000 to $80,000, depending on qualifications.
