We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Hospital. As a Weekend Community Health RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients on our 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their stay.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or further care.
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
