Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Santa Clara Development Corporation. As a key member of our Environmental Services (EVS) team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing, according to departmental policy and procedures.
  • Inventory, restock, and replenish supplies, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap, in all assigned areas of the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and notify appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary.
  • Perform special projects, such as window washing and wall washing, as assigned.
  • Respond to questions and requests from resort guests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work under regular supervision to maintain assigned areas, including but not limited to: Resort, Retail, and Golf Course locations.
  • Be proficient in the corporation's work order system.
  • Perform all functions according to established OSHA and SCDC policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Stand, climb, stoop, and bend frequently, with considerable physical activity.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Tolerate exposure to conditions that may include toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and heights.
  • Wear protective eyewear and clothing as required.
  • Communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person, radio, or telephone.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous related experience and familiarity with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques are preferred.
