About the Role

As a key member of the Operating Room team, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, maintaining aseptic conditions, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety.
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up equipment and ensuring aseptic conditions.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to assist with procedures and maintain a sterile field.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration and airway management as needed.
  • Provide postoperative care, including wound care and educating patients on postoperative instructions and self-care.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
