Dynamic Occupational Therapist Position in Missouri

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in St. Peters, Missouri.
Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of $93,500 based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Additionally, our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO) after 1560 hours, short-term disability, 401(k), and an aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program. You will also receive reimbursement for licensure and CEU's, as well as mileage reimbursement and guaranteed hours.
Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist with Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in rehabilitation therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members, providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and reporting outcomes. You will also be responsible for administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation, sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required, maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies, and transporting patients as needed. Other duties may include performing other tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel, present a positive attitude, and maintain a professional appearance. You must also have technical/motor skills, such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures or using department equipment. Additionally, you should have mental requirements, including being able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. You must also be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail. Finally, you should have sensory abilities, including visual acuity and effective communication skills.
