Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Exploit Developer to join our team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Advance Red Cyber program. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing Red Team Assessments, simulating real-world cyber threats against U.S. Government and DoD critical networks.
As a member of our elite team, you will leverage your expertise to develop innovative tools and exploits, pushing the boundaries of cybersecurity defense. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening national security by identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable insights to mitigate risks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge tools, exploits, and code specifically tailored for red team operations.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging cyber vulnerabilities and exploit development techniques.
- Demonstrate mastery in reverse engineering, analyzing source code to uncover weaknesses and develop effective countermeasures.
- Proficiently script or develop software solutions using languages such as C, C++, and others, ensuring high quality and security standards.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews on all offensive scripts and code, guiding them through the necessary approval processes.
- Analyze adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to create automated exploits and scripts that enhance operational efficiency and emulate real-world threats.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for safe and secure usage of internally and externally developed tools, adhering to established Red Team policies and procedures.
- Participate in Dev Ops reviews to ensure code quality and operational readiness.
- Leverage existing proof-of-concept code to build customized exploits for integration into Command and Control (C2) tools.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of C2 tools, optimizing their effectiveness and minimizing detection risks.
- Respond swiftly to urgent development requests, tailoring tools and exploits within tight deadlines to address emerging vulnerabilities.
