We are seeking a skilled and experienced travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon.

About the Job

This 13-week contract position offers a challenging and rewarding experience for a dedicated healthcare professional. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for cardiac procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for cardiac procedures by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring they are comfortable and secure.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as angiograms and echocardiograms, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sterile protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
