  • Configure and Test New Circuit Ports: Pre-configure new circuit ports and logical cross-connections to ensure seamless integration with our network infrastructure.
  • Resolve Design Discrepancies: Collaborate with our Planner team to resolve design discrepancies and ensure that our network meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Perform Remote Logical Grooms: Utilize your expertise to perform Remote Logical Grooms of Transport circuits from old to new paths, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
  • Validate Grooms and Troubleshoot: Validate grooms are successful with no outstanding alarms and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • De-Provision Old Circuit Paths: De-provision old circuit paths and ports to ensure a smooth transition to new infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Telecommunications Experience: Five years or more of experience in telecommunications, with a strong background in 3/1/0 cross-connect systems, various telecom network elements, Central Office practices, network/circuit engineering, circuit provisioning, wiring standards, TL1, and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of DWDM, IP grooms, and provisioning, as well as experience working with remote logical grooms of transport circuits.
