Job Summary

The New Y-CAPP, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Stabilization Clinician to provide clinical support and direction to our crisis stabilization program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with crisis stabilization counselors to provide direct mental health care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to individuals in crisis, ensuring a safe and secure environment for intervention.
  • Develop diagnostic intake assessments and collaborate with counselors to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Mobilize community resources and support systems to promote ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation.
  • Participate in 24-Hour Emergency Response and On-Call Crisis, providing critical support to individuals in crisis.
  • Explore growth opportunities and participate in program development activities to enhance clinical services.
  • Communicate effectively with Magellan, Medicaid, and other professionals to ensure seamless service provision.
  • Provide clinical supervision to counselors, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid driving license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Own and operate an insurable and registered vehicle, with ability to transport individuals as needed.
  • Have access to and ability to use a computer, printer, and other necessary equipment for electronic documentation.
  • Be able and willing to operate a 15-passenger van, as required.
  • Hold a minimum of three years experience providing direct services to individuals with mental health diagnoses, with supervisory experience preferred.
Education and Specifications

Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP), with LCSW, LCP, LPC, Supervisee, or Resident credentials. A strong understanding of mental health disorders, counseling techniques, and therapeutic interventions is essential for success in this role.
