Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology
  • 1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred
  • CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
