Job Overview

NeedleTech Products, Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Inspector to join our team. As an Assembly Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by verifying specifications, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components using various tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and examine finished products for correct fit, dimensions, and workmanship.
  • Use inspection microscopes to verify workmanship of products.
  • Follow all product handling procedures and handle products with care.
  • Work as part of the assembly team to assemble entire products or components.
  • Notify group leaders or supervisors of any finished products that are not in compliance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Document actions by completing production forms and routers/paperwork.
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related goals and results as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
  • 6-12 months experience as an inspector and production quality control (required).
  • Ability to work with microscopes and various measuring devices (required).
  • Basic to moderate levels of mathematical skills and understanding of operation of equipment and machinery used in the department (required).
Position Skills
  • Good hand-eye dexterity.
  • Good communication skills, both written and orally.
  • Ability to use various measuring devices to ensure proper tolerances on finished products.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to use inspection microscopes to verify workmanship of products.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with simple instructions.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions that require few changes.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures with several potential variables.
