The Housekeeping Porter is a vital member of the Capital Caring Health team, responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in our administrative and inpatient buildings. This includes cleaning patient rooms, nursing stations, family and public areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general cleaning of the building to ensure a professional appearance at all times.
  • Support a clean and comforting atmosphere in our facilities.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or hotel housekeeping is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours are required.

Working Conditions:

The Housekeeping Porter will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects is required.
