ESPN is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Citizenship to lead the development and implementation of CSR strategies that align with the company's mission, values, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in CSR, Communications, or a related field, with prior leadership experience in a Corporate Outreach role or related field. They will possess expertise in managing non-profits and effective outreach programs that align with brands and businesses, as well as knowledge of the sports and media industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CSR strategies that align with ESPN's mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Identify key areas for community impact and create programs that leverage ESPN's unique strengths in sports and media.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of community engagement and philanthropic programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external partners to identify opportunities for joint initiatives and maximize community impact.
  • Develop and promote internal programs that encourage employee participation in community service and charitable activities.
  • Create compelling narratives and reports that highlight the impact of CSR initiatives and communicate these to various audiences, including employees, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Identify and secure additional funding or resources, as needed, to support CSR initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reporting to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Ensure all CSR activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years professional work experience in CSR, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior leadership experience in a Corporate Outreach role or related field; OR ESPN work experience that resulted in the development of broad company knowledge, proven results, and charity involvement.
  • Expertise in managing non-profits and effective outreach programs that align with brands and businesses.
  • Knowledge of the sports and media industry.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop recommendations and influence perspective.
  • Ability to navigate financial matters.
  • Elite communication skills for verbal and written presentation.
