Technical Illustrator

About the Role:

The Technical Illustrator position at American Timber and Steel involves creating accurate and detailed drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Technical Illustrator, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality drawings using CAD software
• Maintain project database files and revise/modifying drawings as needed
• Contribute to other projects as required

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in drafting/design or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in CAD 2D and 3D Software (Solidworks preferred)
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Strong communication and time management skills
