Job Summary:
As an Advanced Medical Imaging Specialist at Providence, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing whole-person care.

About the Role:
The Advanced Medical Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing all phases of cross-sectional imaging using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. This includes preparing patients, operating the MRI equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
* Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images
* Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions
* Collaborate with radiologists to interpret results and develop treatment plans
* Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited radiologic training program
* National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Or National Certified MRI Technologist certification within 1 year of hire
* 6 months of MRI scanning experience
* Preferred: 1 year of MRI scanning experience with advanced certification specific to MRI
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
