Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer Job Description

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic and mammographic images under the guidance of our Radiology Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and mammographic examinations following department protocol and utilizing technical factors to ensure the highest quality results within ACR guidelines.
  • Produce copies of radiographic and mammographic images as needed, in film or CD format.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize age-related pathology and physical presentation when performing exams and choosing technical factors.
  • Assist with clerical duties, including patient data input, scheduling, and maintaining the mammography tracking system.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology training program.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Certification and clinical experience in mammography.
  • CPR certification and ability to maintain annually.
