Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct in-depth assessments to determine students' speech and language needs, and develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) to address specific communication issues.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support and monitor student progress, and engage in IEP meetings to offer expert recommendations and insights based on evaluations.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Virginia State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Credentialing: Virginia Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for this credential).
  • Experience: Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
