Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Mammography Supervisor and Senior Mammographer, you will perform professional mammography services, patient education, and additional women's health services within the Breast Imaging department.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiology program is required. Preference will be given to candidates with 40 hours of mammography training, though we are willing to train the right individual.
- Licensure: ARRT registry must be obtained within 6 months of hire, and Mammography registry should be completed within one year after training if not already certified.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in Radiology and Mammography is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
- Certifications: ARRT Certification is mandatory or registry eligible within 6 months of hire. Mammography certification must be achieved within a specified timeframe if hired without prior mammography experience. BLS certification is also required.
- Other Skills: Proficiency in computer use, effective communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
