Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Line Design Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in routing and design of high-voltage overhead transmission line facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in 69kV to 500kV overhead line design using Power Line Systems based programs (PLS, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE) and familiarity with design codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design drilled pier foundations
  • Apply knowledge of electrical engineering principles to ensure safe and efficient transmission line designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school
  • Professional Engineer licensure by examination or must be preparing to take the PE exam in the short term
  • 4+ years of work experience related to routing and design of high-voltage overhead transmission line facilities

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
