Job Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the collection of high-quality specimens for laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various techniques for blood drawing and specimen collection.
- Accurately enter data and ensure timely delivery of samples.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining workflow efficiency and addressing any issues that arise.
- Exhibit knowledge of quality standards, safety protocols, and compliance regulations.
- Assist with area-specific clinical tasks as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned in addition to the responsibilities listed above.
Compensation: Position Compensation Range: $24.78 Hourly
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: Preferred 1 year of relevant experience
- Licensure: Certification from a nationally recognized phlebotomy organization is preferred
Physical Requirements:
The role involves prolonged standing, frequent travel, bending, stooping, and climbing (including ladders and steps). It requires repetitive motions, including wrist extension and flexion. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential, along with attention to detail and legible writing abilities. The ability to lift, push, and pull is also necessary.
