Catholic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Anesthesiologist at our facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Anesthesia Evaluation: Evaluate patient histories, lab results, and surgical plans to determine an appropriate anesthesia and pain management plan.
- Anesthesia Administration: Prepare and administer general and regional anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery and other procedures.
- Post-Anesthesia Care: Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluation, monitoring patients following procedures to determine when they can be safely moved from one stage of recovery to the next.
- Team Leadership: Supervise registered nurse anesthetists and other technical staff, mentoring and supervising anesthesia providers as needed.
- Certification: American Board of Anesthesiology certification or board eligible.
- Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: License to practice medicine in New Hampshire.
- Skills: Excellent bedside manner, ability to express complicated information in an accessible manner, team leadership and management skills, and problem-solving skills.
