Job Overview

As a Spa Reception Specialist, you will serve as the initial point of interaction for our guests. Your role involves warmly welcoming visitors and ensuring a pleasant experience at the Spa. Proficiency in multitasking and managing stress is crucial for success in this position.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk while executing all administrative tasks to the highest standards of quality.

Availability on weekends is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome all clients as they arrive at the Spa.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or requested by management.
  • Handle appointment bookings, scheduling, and confirmations.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor consistently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Manage incoming calls, redirecting them or taking messages as necessary.
  • Process payments efficiently.
  • Facilitate effective communication between guests and team members.
  • Engage in retail sales activities.
  • Possess knowledge of our treatments and products.
  • Exhibit respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and maintain punctuality.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Keep the front desk organized and presentable with all necessary materials.

Health Benefits:

  • Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Variable-hour team members may qualify for benefits after 12 months with supervisor approval, provided they have averaged 30+ hours per week during their first year.

Retirement Plan:

  • Team members can participate in the 401K plan at age 21 or older, starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • 2% match with a 4% contribution from the employee.

Paid Time Off (PTO):

  • After 6 months: 7 PTO days (728 hours, averaging 28 hours per week)
  • After 1 year: 10 PTO days (1,456 hours, averaging 28 hours per week)
  • After 2-4 years: 15 PTO days (1,456 hours, averaging 28 hours per week)
  • After 5+ years: 20 PTO days (1,200 hours, averaging 23 hours per week)

Holiday Compensation:

  • Hourly team members working on Thanksgiving and Christmas will receive time and a half for their hours worked.
