Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of products ordered by our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pallet Building and Management: Safely and efficiently build pallets of product to minimize damage in transportation and maximize trailer space.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and Vocollect.
  • Order Audits: Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products.
  • Quality Issues: Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other necessary communication.
  • Cold Chain Management: Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience with operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.
