Career Opportunities at the American Red Cross
In this exciting role as Senior Data Architecture Director, you will lead the modernization and transformation of our data and reporting capabilities across various verticals. This position is pivotal in implementing cutting-edge data architecture. As a leader, you will inspire a team of data engineers to build scalable data pipelines, enhancing data management, analytics, and reporting efficiency.
This is a key role in developing and maintaining Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to develop, maintain, and improve data solutions. Additionally, you will drive software automation initiatives supporting CI/CD adoption and DevOps maturity, with a strong focus on automated testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team in designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to handle increasing data volume and complexity.
* Act as an organizational expert on data engineering and data lake/warehousing best practices, researching and applying emerging trends to projects and operations.
* Mentor and guide adoption of DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC), resulting in improved deployment speed and reliability.
* Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated tests, test cases, and monitoring alerts to meet quality and performance standards.
* Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data consumed by business intelligence tools, enhancing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making.
About the Job
This job offers an estimated annual salary range of $165,000-$175,000. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.
