Physical Therapist Opportunity in Sussex, VA

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Sussex, VA. This role involves delivering physical therapy services within a school setting, where you'll help students achieve their physical goals and enhance their overall health and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and oversee individualized physical therapy programs for students with a range of needs.
  • Partner with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and execute effective therapy plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
  • Provide education and support to students, families, and staff on physical therapy practices and techniques.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in setting educational goals and accommodations.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and school staff.
