Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Church Administrator to join our team at Love Kingdom Fellowship Church. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clergy, staff, and church committees, ensuring the smooth operation of our church office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Management:
    • Manage and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the church office, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
    • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and events for church staff, clergy, and volunteers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Maintain accurate records, databases, and files related to membership, attendance, finances, and other important church data, ensuring confidentiality and security.
    • Prepare and distribute internal communications, newsletters, and announcements, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information.
  • Facilities and Resources:
    • Oversee the maintenance and use of church facilities, ensuring they are well-kept and suitable for various activities, including worship services, events, and meetings.
    • Coordinate and schedule events, meetings, and services, ensuring all necessary resources are available, including equipment, supplies, and personnel.
    • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and arrange for repairs and replacements as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to church operations.
  • Communication and Outreach:
    • Serve as a point of contact for members, visitors, and the community, providing information and addressing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Assist in managing the church's website, social media accounts, and other communication platforms, ensuring accurate and timely information is disseminated to the congregation and the wider community.
    • Collaborate with church leaders to develop and implement strategies for community engagement and outreach, ensuring the church remains connected and relevant to its community.
  • Volunteer Coordination:
    • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for various church activities and ministries, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all volunteers.
    • Foster a culture of volunteerism, recognizing the contributions and value of volunteers, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Event Planning and Support:
    • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing church events, workshops, and special programs, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to church operations.
    • Coordinate logistical details, such as venue arrangements, catering, and event promotion, ensuring all necessary resources are available and utilized effectively.
  • Clerical Support:
    • Provide administrative support to clergy, staff, and church committees, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks and projects.
    • Prepare documents, reports, and materials for meetings and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with church operations and an understanding of its mission and values.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with a strong sense of teamwork and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles or church administration is a plus, but not required.
